SINCE 4.7

Starting from Visual Composer version 4.7 it is possible to control default state of element parameters by defining presets and setting presets as default. Setting element preset as default will automatically load selected parameters every time element has been added to content.

Element preset controls and list are located in parameter window under "gear" icon.

 

Create Element Preset

In order to create new element preset:

1) Open element parameter window and change values to desired

2) Open Element Preset controls

3) Choose "Save as preset"

4) Enter preset name and save

Apply Element Preset

In order to apply element preset:

1) Open element parameter window and Element Preset controls

2) Select from list preset you want to use

3) Element parameter window will change parameter values to the ones defined in preset

Change Default Preset

In order to change default preset:

1) Open element parameter window and Element Preset controls

2) Select preset to be Default

3) Open Element Preset controls again and choose "Set as default"

Note: If you do not have any preset chosen or made changes click on Save as preset instantly and it will offer to save current choice as preset. Visual Composer will automatically set this preset as default

Restore Default Preset

In order to restore Visual Composer default:

1) Open element parameter window and Element Preset controls

2) Select "Restore defaults"

Delete Element Preset

In order delete preset:

1) Open element parameter window and Element Preset controls

2) Hover your cursor on preset name

3) Delete icon will appear on the right side from preset title

4) Click delete icon to completely delete preset

Note: If element preset was set to default - Visual Composer defaults for element will be set
